Description:

GBT 18674-2018 8-strand Mixed Polypropylene and Polyethylene Fishery Ropes is constructed of four S-twist strands and four Z-strands arranged so that S-twist strands alternate(individually or in pairs) with Z-twist strands(individually or in pairs).It is made up of bi-component fibres made of a blend during extrusion of polypropylene and of polyethylene,with a minimum of 15 % and a maximum of 50 % of polyethylene. It has strong, lightweight, abrasion resistant, thermally bondable and comfortable property. It is also resistant to sunlight, soil and staining,quick drying properties and able to provide a good bulk and cover. GBT 18674-2018 8-strand Mixed Polypropylene and Polyethylene Fishery Ropes can be widely used in Krill trawl net, Marine ranch super - large wind and wave cage.

5. A force determined by the test methods specified in GB/T 8834 is not necessarily an accurate indication of the force at which that rope might break in other circumstances and situations. A rope bent around a post, capstan, pulley or sheave may break at a significantly lower force. A knot or other distortion in a rope may significantly reduce the breaking force.
